"Al bayan" is a comprehensive daily newspaper founded in 1980 by a decree issued by His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, to replace the weekly newspaper "News of Dubai".
The first copy of "al Bayan" was issued on the 10th of May 1980, the newspaper became the fifth issued in the state and the first Arab newspaper to devote two then three then four pages for business segment.
Al Bayan launched its online version albayan.ae in 1998, being the first developed news site locally and regionally.
Since its launch, the website has achieved impressive successes and earned the ninth position in most influential Arab news sites on the Internet.
In 2012, Al Bayan was placed first present on social networking sites in the region as revealed by Forbes Middle East list for top Arab online media.
The Al Bayan Apple Store application contains a main page where you can choose segments from the list provided on the right, news within segments and pages related to each news. Other news are accessible from any of these pages.
